00:00:00: Hello, my name is James Regal.
00:00:01: I'm a stand-up comedian from England who's based in Barcelona.
00:00:05: the reason i'm talking to you Is because Thomas recently came to Barcelona and him And I took part In a comedy roast battle against each other very Very fun.
00:00:15: absolutely loved it and actually that battle was voted in The top three best battles in the world in the global Roast Battle League.
00:00:22: yes That is a real thing.
00:00:24: if You don't know what?
00:00:25: A roast battle.
00:00:27: It's basically a big fight between two comedians, but instead of using physical violence we use jokes about each other.
00:00:35: To put it in terms of German might understand... ...it is bit like invading Poland.
00:00:41: you just call all their mums fat!
00:00:43: Anyway, that was very fun and I hope Hazel isn't too upset with the things she said to her lovely husband And I don't know, who knows?
00:00:53: Maybe one day i'll get to come on the podcast and show her all of things that I wrote but didn't say.
00:00:59: Enjoy this show!
00:01:01: As you said in Germany... Gesundheit!
00:01:06: Something like that.. I don´t speak German.
00:01:11: Hello Thomas Spitzer,
00:01:12: now I finally have you back on the Strip.
00:01:15: Here i locked myself in my kennel in South-Hessen!
00:01:37: What the fuck?
00:01:38: Tell me about
00:01:39: your last
00:01:40: week.
00:01:40: Where should we start?
00:01:44: So this midweek I was at the game Bayern München Real Madrid What
00:01:49: if I can believe the ticker that was the most disturbed game of all time?
00:01:54: A hundred games a year That's really crazy.
00:01:57: But I
00:01:57: thought it was going to be a glitch.
00:02:00: So after the attack, I felt like there were thirty seconds left.
00:02:03: And they said no!
00:02:04: What?
00:02:04: There's one behind us?
00:02:06: No that can't happen.
00:02:07: and then I refreshed.
00:02:09: what?
00:02:09: One-to-one?
00:02:10: How did this go on?
00:02:12: Well... Bayern played three times... back and came into the game three times again.
00:02:19: And then they were lucky at the end that the opponent team got a red card, so they shot two more goals.
00:02:28: What I've never experienced is that there was a goal and it
00:02:33: just ended
00:02:34: in the end.
00:02:35: It really did!
00:02:36: It was simply a goal because everyone ran to the field of play around arms.
00:02:40: Yes, this one-to-one.
00:02:41: I think it really fell in the first minute and that was so fast there wasn't a reaction at all to the stadium.
00:02:47: So
00:02:48: how do you imagine?
00:02:49: He just ran straight forward with his first attack and then he just passed by and then...
00:02:54: Yeah like that, he looked away from Neuer, the other directly in front of him.
00:02:58: Neuer stood mega far ahead while the others simply flew over into the goal.
00:03:00: Of course also totally madly against the player from Madrid.
00:03:08: So all were just quiet, because the game was two-on-one and then it was just shit.
00:03:13: There is no more the outdoor goal rule that the outdoor goals count as
00:03:17: a goal at home?
00:03:18: Why isn't this like
00:03:20: that
00:03:20: anymore?!
00:03:20: Just to make it exciting.
00:03:22: In the past, there was always a two-to-one more value than one at
00:03:26: home or something like that.
00:03:27: What I can somehow understand because in Munich for example when you shoot a goal as Bayern, then this is still so difficult
00:03:37: for the opponent team?
00:03:38: One argument is always the local fans are much more and of course the team that travels has the journey still in its bones.
00:03:47: Yes, that's true.
00:03:49: But it is not all anymore and you also mentioned in the episode beforehand That a little bit hardened whether to go at all because no one has with whom You went there said ah shit on me I'm still going was then so that you There were connections made.
00:04:05: So since you fell into your arms like this Then i imagined what would happen if some man with a leather pants.
00:04:18: No, that's not true.
00:04:19: I even sat in a row where it would surprise me if the others didn't come to the tickets as dubious as they were.
00:04:30: Many people who didn't know exactly how to behave there and sometimes had no tricks or were just visitors... Me too!
00:04:45: I got the shirt that wasn't in red, and actually the announcement came from Kimmich.
00:04:50: Today everyone is wearing it in red.
00:04:52: The player Karl was also dressed pink on the bench.
00:04:54: Then you probably had to listen to something afterwards.
00:04:59: Yes but like him too.
00:05:00: It's an ultra-ultra-cool game!
00:05:01: I enjoyed it a lot from beginning to end pretty far away to the stadium.
00:05:07: I came from up there, from Garching I think.
00:05:11: Garching was in my very first solo program a punchline.
00:05:15: Oh yeah?
00:05:15: So Garching sounds like a joint disease because it's that north... What is this?
00:05:21: Not the asshole of Munich but the stomach sprain.
00:05:24: Where everything happens and no one
00:05:29: cares about them.
00:05:30: I don't know if you can say something like that again.
00:05:36: There are also theories.
00:05:39: I don't know, it's going to be everything you say on the podcast.
00:05:44: It's almost from long ago.
00:05:45: No, I'm not at all media-critical or cultural pessimistic and so on but it was already more than that.
00:05:51: you were quoted by Swiss media as Hazel Brugger acts against them And we said in the podcast episode with Kilian and Loredana That we find it a shame for all the talent of Switzerland.
00:06:03: Not many swiss in the jumps into international waters cars and then people made out Hazel bruggers act against comedians.
00:06:11: Of course they don't agree.
00:06:13: If you've always heard the story, it's hard to say.
00:06:19: Or Hazel Brogher has unbearable pain that she's been suffering for years and that there is a gluten intolerance.
00:06:25: You have been talking about this for ten years now.
00:06:29: There are some people who want to force this narrative... Ah!
00:06:35: Now he's taken off his shirt.
00:06:37: He doesn't even touch her anymore.
00:06:38: Actually
00:06:40: when I like the media landscape Then I would be able to talk better.
00:06:49: Then I would get a mega fat sports car.
00:06:52: An affair is also brought on, then crazy many exaggerated dogs.
00:06:55: So something where you think now it rubs off completely from nipslip
00:07:00: and maybe smaller
00:07:01: nipslippes?
00:07:02: They want that.
00:07:03: you are like Meryl Streep in the Teufel Treg Prada.
00:07:06: they just want to have such a totally picked
00:07:09: up, cold-hearted
00:07:11: beer which no longer checks what's going.
00:07:14: And yes, I think you shouldn't be so super conscious about it.
00:07:20: You have to show everyone how down-to-earth is written and stuff like that every time.
00:07:26: But if the episode has ever been heard before... ...you know what?
00:07:29: That's not something we can say at all!
00:07:31: But whatever it may seem.
00:07:32: No, i just heard in Munich Mönchenspeziell das städtische Problem hat, dass nicht so viel in die Höhe gebaut wird und deswegen die ganzen kleineren.
00:07:44: Orte, Greffelfingen.
00:07:46: All of them are called Unterhaching and so on... ...that they all gain importance as a whole.
00:07:51: And that's actually like Neukölln, Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain etc.
00:07:55: Oh cool!
00:07:55: Okay we're kind of in love with
00:07:57: it now?
00:07:57: Exactly I'm really happy to be in Munich.
00:07:59: It's always amazing how good the city is from its infrastructure.
00:08:04: It probably is one of the best-made cities in Germany which isn't very difficult either because Germany doesn't have... if it's about the city infrastructure.
00:08:15: But how fast can you fill up the alliance arena and then quickly learn again?
00:08:23: I know there will be dust afterwards,
00:08:24: etc.,
00:08:24: but with an S-Bahn you get a connection from the inner town immediately to your site on the side line back and forth.
00:08:33: And that
00:08:34: is crazy!
00:08:34: If people ask me whether or not it gets boring at some point... I always say two things.
00:08:41: First of all, it's not the same program because there is a lot of interactive or tax-dependent or spontaneous as you want to call it and most importantly what never stops being exciting at live events this moment when a mass of strangers to one organism.
00:09:02: So if you just notice the energy, without it being esoterically meant now... The energy is on a Nenner and there are more than only several people but that's an entity.
00:09:14: Was this in Munich already after few seconds because of that?
00:09:19: Yes definitely!
00:09:20: It was alone.
All the foil on their seats, which they then lift up to a special point of time and then there is such an image.
00:09:42: Oh,
00:09:42: great!
00:09:43: Like a rain screen that holds you
00:09:44: up like this?
00:09:46: I also raised the foil because it was just so special game.
00:09:49: What do you have for
00:09:50: a foil?
00:09:51: Silver.
00:09:51: And all of them are connected of course already huge.
00:09:54: How do we
00:09:55: communicate with each other?
00:09:56: Who organizes these
00:09:57: things?
00:09:57: The fan clubs I think.
00:09:58: They
00:09:58: go before the game onto the seat and everyone knows...
00:10:03: There's a small number.
00:10:10: Yeah, it's totally sweet.
00:10:12: I even said that there was a connection to the element... ...I even helped with it because then we had a huge foil which covered up the entrance so you could see where this picture is from and they raised me like this.
00:10:25: That was of course such a typical men thing in the beginning.
00:10:27: It's hard When you are on so many events as we do, I don't think there is anything to talk about energy in the room without being esoteric.
00:10:42: Because both of us aren´t esoterical people but both are people who feel the space.
00:10:49: It helps me a lot when i am inside and notice how it fills up again.
00:10:55: So then my feeling is that every single person feels this space And I didn't like it when you came too late and then just sat on the stage.
00:11:03: It was always a bad performance or very rare, really good performances.
00:11:06: So if one so ... Or i couldn't do that as well as the comedian.
00:11:08: sometimes When they have three hop-mike gigs in an evening That's simply... The show begins at around midnight, I come at about twenty-three o'clock Go to the stage, make my gig.
00:11:17: Now.
00:11:17: actually I did this
00:11:18: for the first time during my tour in Hamburg Sometimes
00:11:20: not And because of myself.
00:11:20: I thought
00:11:22: I don´t know What exactly is the consensus of this group?
00:11:26: Because it can be that someone made jokes about Charlie Sheen all the time.
00:11:34: And then you also mean, that the meaning of Charlie Sheens has completely changed within
00:11:40: this room.
00:11:40: So a very concrete example I have.
00:11:42: one day later we will definitely...
00:11:43: Then I wanted to apologize right away.
00:11:46: I took part
00:11:48: in Rose Battle and after the first battle said by One of the judges ...I hate when people speak German.
00:11:54: I can't hear German, of course.
00:11:56: Then later on it was related to me and so forth.
00:12:02: It's a bit like when you invite someone for coffee in the kitchen and say he is coming at six o'clock.
00:12:06: You don't come yourself around five o' clock, just fifteen or fifty.
00:12:12: And then you're lying down so fast, you have some napkins or something But you want
00:12:19: to enjoy the
00:12:21: peace.
00:12:21: That's what I have to prepare.
00:12:23: Maybe polish the cover or something like that, put some flowers on it?
00:12:26: Or put a couple of candles in there and you want... Set
00:12:29: the room, give the mood a
00:12:35: little bit.
00:12:36: You could also say give the tone.
00:12:40: Exactly!
00:12:41: And what always makes me happy is this... Get down to the man in a total full großen raum.
Musste erst
00:13:06: mal an das Ticket kommen, ne?
00:13:07: Musste dann
00:13:08: vielleicht ein Termin der vorher schon geplant war verschieben, um das möglich zu
00:13:12: machen.
00:13:13: Muss denn die ganzen Dinge, die man halt so machen muss und wieviel... basic energy in a room before it even started.
00:13:24: Last time I got a message from one of the people who came to my show after Böbling and wrote, I don't want to build up pressure at all!
00:13:31: My baby is four months old.
00:13:33: now we are practicing that milk takes over with the spoon because the bottle doesn´t take it And this has to work out with the spoons Because i have these cards.
00:13:43: It's my first evening without a baby.
00:13:47: When you hear something like The question is, how do you find the energy to come up with a new show every evening?
00:13:55: Because it has only happened once for me.
00:13:58: For everyone else.
00:13:59: it never happened yet and also just happens to other people as well.
00:14:03: And I think that's a slippery slope of being a performer on one side because this is part of your job too That you don't overestimate them.
00:14:11: You don´t think about what if there are thousands of people watching this show There is always this guy who plays football.
00:14:21: It's just a game at the end of the day and he has to score, that's it!
00:14:25: And from all sides there will be crazy construction.
00:14:29: Greece plays against Turkey or something like that.
00:14:32: And then you say, oh now this is the battle of blah-blah-blAH.
00:14:38: and there's always these stories from fifty years ago where it was raining in this place and so on... He made himself immortal!
00:14:44: He made him immortal when he shot the F-Meter.
00:14:46: That's the worst thing about all over the world.
00:14:49: how can one look back at the mirror every time?
00:14:53: You have to be able to take a little bit down but on the other side naturally always tried to take these responsibilities.
00:15:02: These people are now here because of me and gave out money, so naturally I have to offer them something.
00:15:14: But you can't offer the people what they're not
00:15:18: open for.
00:15:18: Exactly!
00:15:19: You somehow had to create yourself a certain kind of energy with it... It doesn't matter what you do on stage.
00:15:26: On the other hand, of course it's not allowed to be embarrassed by loud new roses.
00:15:34: I also had
00:15:36: a very intense live experience in Munich for almost two years now when i was at Adele world which is proof that münchen really has something on his chest That they have managed Not only to perform Adele World but first to lock Adele there and That was so annoying.
00:15:54: This whole trip with a baby, what kind of company... No wait not four months but half-year old then another three and a half year old child.
00:16:03: I had to meet up there with my girlfriend again met me with other friends who then take care of the children.
00:16:08: And it's been clear all this time that something has to be found which is already legitimized by the concert that makes you do these things.
00:16:23: that you emancipate from the person on stage.
00:16:26: So, so one doesn't have to worry about his whole mood and his entire week or maybe a whole year of this performance by the artist or the artist.
00:16:35: Partly
00:16:35: also of course management.
00:16:37: That's how it is managed... That's what the Amis do, I think it is very good with something like... There are of course also in Germany Kisscams, break-up programs.
00:16:46: Or
00:16:46: lookalikecams!
00:16:50: It's
00:16:50: really funny for you too.
00:16:51: So many things just happened to you.
00:16:53: You were such a lookalikes... Lookalikeable actually without likable.
00:16:58: You know what I mean.
00:16:59: It's already likable for me, but some people say you look like a bad action figure.
00:17:04: I don't think so at all!
00:17:05: But it looks kind of like a Pets Dispens or something that comes out of your mouth.
00:17:09: That is just mega cool as entertainment there.
00:17:13: How does the second language
00:17:15: work?
00:17:15: Of course this takes on the pressure from the performer.
00:17:17: So if you have a good set-up around then it's also like in a museum when the lighting is awesome and the rooms are awesome The shop is awesome.
00:17:29: Then it's no longer so important to me what the content is.
00:17:34: I would even
00:17:34: say that there are more images of this glass pyramid at the Louvre than of Mona Lisa in the Louvres.
00:17:42: I don't know specifically about Mona Lisa if you can say something like that, but there are museum experiences which were so beautiful when my museum was in Linz for example.
00:17:51: It was really cool!
00:17:51: There on the shore and stuff... I can't even remember the art itself.
00:17:56: So, it's just a really cool experience.
00:17:58: or photographic museum in Stockholm where
00:18:01: you were already three times and never been there yet?
00:18:03: You're
00:18:03: right!
00:18:03: It wasn't with me again!
00:18:05: I haven't talked about this yet but maybe we'll do that only when online is available.
00:18:10: You still had to cut the whole English
00:18:12: program.
00:18:12: Yeah exactly.
00:18:13: The English program also has to be cut.
00:18:14: Look at how much I've experienced There.
00:18:16: you see once...I made thousands of notes what happened And then the Bayern Real Madrid game was not included All the motifs.
00:18:26: So yes, so folie when you talk about it in French is la folie and that means the madness.
00:18:31: Speaking of French You were also in Barcelona?
00:18:35: You appeared there Thomas Spitzer.
00:18:38: What's wrong with you?
00:18:39: since how many years haven't you appeared on stage with comedy?
00:18:42: Maybe
00:18:44: five?
00:18:44: I think
00:18:45: we have a child That's
00:18:47: almost
00:18:47: like the bullet you caught to say well then Hang my career on the stage not at Nagel, but I'll definitely put it in ice.
00:18:59: And now you're just a small surprise move.
00:19:01: that's only been told to me very briefly beforehand.
00:19:03: Yes, by the way, I'm going there for a roast on English.
00:19:05: Bye!
00:19:05: How did this come about?
00:19:08: What was best and what wasn't as well planned out?
00:19:13: how is it moving forward?
00:19:14: I was briefly in Barcelona on December, just to check out the comedy club there.
00:19:21: Of course also simply come out and feel immediately because you now have your appearance in Stockholm.
00:19:28: what would be so cool clubs in Europe?
00:19:31: And i heard that in Barcelona is a big English language scene That she's this big.
00:19:35: I didn't know about it but they have one mega awesome Club Comedy Club House in the middle of town where only English-speaking shows are and it is really a place of meeting.
00:19:46: It's like a
00:19:47: cellar, right?
00:19:49: There're even two clubs next to each other in two different block houses, so about three hundred meters apart from one another.
00:19:58: And the cool thing there... That's why they can also organize special shows such as Rose Scoot because that's just how many people always have this much brain power.
00:20:09: They are super talented, even though they don't speak English as a mother tongue.
00:20:21: I was on... I think the first show even had a roast battle that I put in, because it was late at night.
00:20:26: It was like twenty-two o'clock and you
00:20:28: can already say so.
00:20:30: Roast is probably one of the wildest things to experience on a stand-up stage And later this evening you're wilder than most programs.
00:20:38: And I love roasting time!
00:20:39: So i don't know exactly where that comes from.
00:20:41: I think the first comedy rose that really looked at me was Justin Bieber.
00:20:45: And then because of coincidence, there were some beef experiences from Seth Rogen and Justin Bieber or something
00:20:51: like this.
00:20:51: It's also a premium beef.
00:20:53: Justin Bieber definitely wanted to take part in Seth Rogan but he didn't want to do it so much.
00:20:58: So I said, what is this?
00:20:59: Then I watched it too often and found it so incredibly cool and funny... He just presses exactly
00:21:04: the button on his brain for everything that isn't allowed.
00:21:07: Just one person Just to suffer.
00:21:11: But on a possible, clever
00:21:14: way... No, I wouldn't say to suffer because it's actually a writing practice.
00:21:22: Roast is a writing or what do you mean?
00:21:24: I would like to say that in an artistically, lyrical and language-based manner.
00:21:31: It's kind of as if Jackie Chan smuggled someone but in a totally different way.
00:21:39: I would
00:21:39: completely go away from the whole content, because... I don't like it when you say that and said this on stage.
00:21:46: That's definitely about it!
00:21:49: I've never thought of anything on my stage as an opponent.
00:21:54: It was just about writing interesting things.
00:21:57: For me if there is a football game And then you take all the players and say, now let's see what they really can do.
00:22:05: What are the whole trades that such a player has to have?
00:22:08: Yes somehow team capability, kind of precision, some sort of speed.
00:22:13: Then basically from everything which makes out for yourself good players like with these maps where somehow tanks or planes or something on it and takes them different and says Now I'm going to shoot ladders who by Toni Kroos in BAP And Harry Kane is the best at shooting in a flat.
00:22:29: Now I'm doing well, what else
00:22:33: do we need?
00:22:34: Community!
00:22:34: Who can easily turn someone on the street with an abo?
00:22:39: Then you take the next one and it's a bit like Rose that says to me, I have five lines here where i show my comedy-wise.
00:22:51: These lines cannot be tried.
00:22:54: I can only do this in
00:22:55: the evening.
00:22:56: They are so incredibly specific that you need them somewhere else.
00:23:00: You
00:23:01: can't use it anywhere else.
00:23:02: and after what i didn't know at all, there is still a jury who talks about it And will discuss everything in the Roast Battle League.
00:23:12: So that
00:23:12: was once the most absurd thing in the world.
00:23:15: That's why we'll talk more in detail later on.
00:23:17: I was
00:23:18: in Barcelona in December.
00:23:19: I checked out this club over there.
00:23:22: It was mega cool.
00:23:23: I met James Regal there, who organized a lot in the region.
00:23:32: He has been
00:23:34: living in Barcelona for about twelve years now and is quite successful as well.
00:23:41: He's also opening for all kinds of international events.
00:23:45: The club belongs to Michel Wolff among other things.
00:23:48: I just asked him, how does it go?
00:23:57: What should you do to get up here if Hazel would come and follow in three days.
00:24:06: How will the conditions be then?
00:24:08: Could they imagine that this is going to be full when a hundred people are coming?
00:24:14: where would one go If there were more than three hundred
00:24:16: people who came?
00:24:16: Where would we go?
00:24:17: He also
00:24:19: helped me because on the day why he always had a Tottenham shirt on And he's a mega-crazy Tottenhaven fan.
00:24:24: And then I had planned or thought that if this whole crazy stressful phase is over with your appointment, maybe i'll go back to Barcelona again.
00:24:34: He wrote it down and said when's the next Rose Battle?
00:24:35: And he told me at the end of the day not so crazy because right now am there!
00:24:42: Who is supposed to be against you, but I'm not.
00:24:45: Oh cool!
00:24:45: Because he's already
00:24:51: a really big guy.
00:24:53: He's considered the best there
00:24:56: as well.
00:24:57: So he won this game like twenty times or something.
00:24:59: and then he just sent me information via e-mail about himself so things that i can tell him.
00:25:10: And we didn't know each other.
00:25:11: We went to eat before that and then it was a little bit like this.
00:25:15: No, I just liked jokes here.
00:25:16: I'm really curious what you're going to say about the food.
00:25:18: I didn't tell anything to you either because i thought it's important for me to find out how it tastes.
00:25:24: I said hey go on stage try it.
00:25:25: if its kind of stupid than leave it again when cool is no idea.
00:25:29: The evening was already cool so... The first battle was very, very good.
00:25:37: I think the second one was an absolute beginner's battle.
00:25:41: So two people who had never done it before were also good in terms of order.
00:25:46: It is sometimes important to show the people that they are not just all people on stage who are mega-crazy professionals because otherwise everyone thinks at some point in public and say hey i could do this somehow too or the guys don't know how to estimate them anymore.
00:25:58: so I thought it would be always quite good with POTUSLAMS.
00:26:01: if there is a throughhanger tonight It shouldn't be
00:26:05: too slow, of course.
00:26:05: Yeah but if you motivate the after-movement as well... So when I came to the Poetry Slave that I was looking at the third time and thought it could
00:26:13: do so for
00:26:14: a last place it would reach me!
00:26:16: Then
00:26:16: we came into the third battle following the break which really, really good was
00:26:21: CK against Kali.
00:26:21: How
00:26:21: many were there?
00:26:22: Four is always four battles And three judges and one host, also really much brainpower on stage.
00:26:27: So it's always battle, then the judges talk about how that was.
00:26:32: Then they give such a evaluation and then next battle
00:26:35: is so crazy.
00:26:36: I think you should actually now where you also described.
00:26:40: as you see all of this You have to bring out like this Tony Hawk skater game, do not know if one can make a rose battle game.
00:26:47: And yes our battles came at the very end.
00:26:51: And when was it?
00:26:52: It's like, at around midnight.
00:26:55: Yeah, so half past twelve exactly.
00:26:56: It started at about twenty-two o'clock and yeah that just went on from the front to the back.
00:27:02: really, really crazy!
00:27:02: So I never would have thought... Well of course i already hoped there could be one or two gags somewhere but actually we don't even make any Illusion that it's always like this, right?
00:27:15: It was just from the beginning to a single fat, huge, awesome vibe.
00:27:19: That is what it means all the time.
00:27:22: and you want to do it again!
00:27:23: Yes I was
00:27:23: followed by... it also was totally trippy at the end of my whole trip.
00:27:28: so i went on Wednesday there was the game Thursday after Barcelona then Sunday after Regensburg from Wednesday to Wednesday.
00:27:37: In my last night, James wrote me, oh cool!
00:27:40: Now the battles will be discussed at the Rose Battle League.
00:27:44: so there is an international rose battle league where the best battles are sent in and then you get a ranking... There comes
00:27:52: Professor McGorder and says good luck for
00:27:54: Griffin!
00:27:55: Then there's really Rose Battle Tokyo, Rose Battle Cup Starts.
00:27:58: That's
00:27:58: so crazy!
00:27:59: You know what I find most crazy?
00:28:03: So not that I ate the wisdom with spoons, but never heard of it.
00:28:07: That's really crazy!
00:28:08: And from all battles worldwide if i understood correctly in this week we were on place three?
00:28:16: Yes
00:28:17: so I got it too and don't
00:28:19: think both of us got it
00:28:20: wrong.
00:28:20: Yes, so really insane.
00:28:21: and
00:28:22: I even brought something with me here.
00:28:25: The meeting of the hosts in short form for you to see it as well.
00:28:30: And yes like i said It was ultra trippy.
00:28:33: then on the last day There would have been a little jazz cigarette smoked.
00:28:36: We watched the Rose Battle.
00:28:38: We looked at movies Killing Of A Sacred Deer.
00:28:42: Then on the second screen this stream came out loudly Because I didn't know if we were going to be talked about or not.
00:28:54: And then at some point you see
00:28:59: our battle, I do it.
00:29:00: We could
00:29:01: even look in the hotel suite on a large screen.
00:29:04: and after that Mike my former resident who was also there in Regensburg this evening saw What is that now?
00:29:14: What are they doing
00:29:16: there?!
00:29:16: I said, yes, we'll talk about it.
00:29:20: We love Barcelona.
00:29:22: number three battle of the week in the world.
00:29:25: James Regal, Thomas Spitzer, Bartholona, Baccalona was fun man.
00:29:30: that was.
00:29:31: honestly it doesn't really matter what was going on because you're gonna hear jokes You've heard before.
00:29:35: Thomas hasn't really done this?
00:29:36: You can tell james has so he wasn't playing with his food I would say.
00:29:39: but i Would Say James Was Not trying to embarrass the guy because it's not fun when you just like Tyson, the mess out of somebody who has never done this.
00:29:46: Plus that is really his natural language for most part and I thought was a lot of fun.
00:29:50: they neither have them use notes which is impressive or guys ever don't do before.
00:29:55: uh... i just though there were alot of fun.
00:29:58: Yeah, so I thought it was crazy that they said something like this.
00:30:03: And then he has his t-shirt
00:30:08: on.
00:30:08: and what's going to happen?
00:30:12: He had the white t-shirts on!
00:30:13: Then he didn't have a lot of things to say about him.
00:30:15: He would've been even shorter.
00:30:19: I wasn't impressed at all with your opening joke because somehow you look like a rat when the main character in the movie... It was actually quite a long gag over Ratatouille if he hadn't been cooked but instead... I don't want to explain your jokes now before you do But later she said
00:30:45: yes there should be an ending.
00:30:46: James wasn't going too hard and he was taking long walks to get places.
00:30:50: I think Thomas... Thomas was conjuring so much laughter, but it surprising him just as much as it was James.
00:30:56: You know what i mean?
00:30:57: He did that first joke right?
00:31:00: This guy looks like a rat in the movie.
00:31:02: You should have ended it there, none of the extra stuff mattered anymore.
00:31:05: If he had done three more battles- Why did you get to put a toy though?
00:31:07: Come on man!
00:31:08: Yeah like that was fucking worth it.
00:31:10: Sorry Thomas It wasn't.
00:31:13: I have done a few roast battles
00:31:16: in German, but just a hundred years ago.
00:31:17: I think it's really been seven years now.
00:31:19: The jokes about you.
00:31:20: But I mean, that's super grateful or it is actually perfect.
00:31:23: if one just looks at
00:31:25: yourself and says ah he looks
00:31:27: like the dude from
00:31:29: the book who
00:31:30: was supposed to burn himself up And so now i'm making fun of him.
00:31:37: What does this mean?
00:31:38: So the beauty in the way of exchange Is also That people say what everyone thinks when you're
00:31:43: in public.
00:31:44: I think that's also a kind of liberating,
00:31:47: so people like Martha Stewart or Snoop Dogg do it too because they can show them to stand over there and there are few things
00:31:58: which could be heard about me now.
00:32:08: What do I think would be totally close or something like that?
00:32:14: Yeah, where you wouldn't even expect it.
00:32:31: Exactly!
00:32:32: How could this
00:32:33: happen?!
00:32:34: So
00:32:35: most jokes
00:32:36: are just... Ninety percent of the jokes look like Nazis and then the rest ten percent is somehow a famous woman but... So my God.
00:32:46: Yes,
00:32:46: but it's also funny that there was mixed media.
00:32:49: James had such a Hitler talk with some people and then
00:32:53: he played.
00:32:54: And so he said yes I have an excerpt from your podcast too.
00:32:57: Yes this has
00:32:57: been very good for me at the Comedy Club House now in contrast to the Downstairs Club in Berlin For example.
00:33:05: how can i say without criticizing the downstairs club?
00:33:13: The comedy clubhouse doesn't take itself seriously.
00:33:16: It's almost like a kindergarten.
00:33:19: For example, they also have such a jingle board with which sometimes they play jingles while setting up... So the
00:33:26: club is just like another character?
00:33:27: Exactly!
00:33:28: You can play Tishkicker there too because after every show Karaoke is sung at the top and it even annoys you down there for some reason.
00:33:38: then you still have a show at the bottom Last Christmas, or something like that.
00:33:46: And
00:33:46: then you
00:33:47: have a drink card and there's just Shady Beer, double point, two euros, Shady Wine... You're never too
00:33:53: old to be a child!
00:33:54: Yes
00:33:55: it is perfect I love this.
00:33:57: In Germany it's a different situation, because people don't know stand-up.
00:34:02: You have to show that you're not doing the same thing with us but about the material on stage and how.
00:34:09: there are materials and open mics where one has to play around in order for them to explain themselves first.
00:34:16: That is why I understand this tagline from Downstairs Club No Quatsch Only Jokes.
00:34:23: But of course its also funny when it's quite quatschic.
But it's still hard
00:34:59: to count for six million.
00:35:04: It is super!
00:35:06: You
00:35:06: always know which buttons are pressed, but you don't know how people walk towards the
00:35:13: button.
00:35:13: Exactly I thought that was really cool and of course this one too.
00:35:20: So I know you're capable of much better.
00:35:24: It's like when you hate a player that you kind of love, it's not about just full on...I'm not hating to hate..it's like i've seen what your potential is.
00:35:31: and why are you making me follow this ten minute thing?
00:35:34: I understand the new guy doesn't know any better but you?
00:35:37: I think he was having fun!
00:35:39: That crowd was having a good time.
00:35:40: its laid out there.
00:35:42: they were having a great time ummm....i guys got to know this.
00:35:46: my young whites.
00:35:46: right now whats going with Slim shady performance at Radio City Music Hall in two thousand?
00:35:53: look you guys have going on right now with the white shirt and then the blonde hair.
00:35:57: I'll give this to James though.
00:35:58: I wish he had a great joke.
00:35:59: Marshall Mathers plan of course.
00:36:01: Yeah, that should've gotten a bigger pop but no one.
00:36:03: I mean if you know American history and Barcelona sure No one care.
00:36:06: it's for its all Europe.
00:36:08: It's a ball.
00:36:08: All the posts were World War Two.
00:36:10: Europe was rebuilt by the bar martial point yeah.
00:36:12: But they don't care Yeah.
00:36:14: Cause they're probably tourists there from what I'm saying, like Dubai and we're all first of all Americans are.
00:36:19: I was having this conversation with my parents?
00:36:21: Yes.
00:36:21: I know them yes.
00:36:22: I Know My Skin Color but We were talking about last night About Like.
00:36:25: Yes Americans Are Stupid Like We Don't?
00:36:27: Really We don't Know Any Other Languages And We Actually You Know John Kerry Said This We've Reserved The Right To Be Stupid.
00:36:32: Damn That's A Good One.
00:36:34: Now It's John Kerry.
00:36:35: Shout out to John Kerry.
00:36:36: iKnow you Guys Have Turned This Off By Now But I Love the Former Secretary Of State.
00:36:39: Let'S Talk About
00:36:44: it.
00:36:45: I
00:36:45: didn't want to take it away, but James had a great joke.
00:36:48: This Marshall Plan Matters was super.
00:36:53: Marshall Plan.
00:36:54: Yeah yeah, I know that and Marshall Matters is Eminem of
00:36:58: course.
00:36:59: That's the joke exactly!
00:37:00: Yes, but Thomas...I don´t if everyone knows this.
00:37:02: We also have some twenty years old Herbys who do
00:37:05: not know about this.
00:37:05: They think Eight Mile.
00:37:07: Is there something new?
00:37:09: And at the end of course, I don't have my own horn honking for too long.
00:37:15: What does it mean?
00:37:15: Of course but in the end i got a kind of backhanded compliment from all of you here.
00:37:21: So then he says that and this is what i just asked myself to answer as a goalkeeper when they say ok im doing these ten battles Just to see how things are going.
00:37:30: I'm in Berlin now twice, maybe even still in Barcelona.
00:37:34: Let's have a look.
00:37:35: And because i am in Toronto right now I try to film there too.
00:37:44: Because all of these cities in the USA Of course they've got all those rose petals that everyone is in the league.
00:37:53: So Boston, New York and Toronto.
00:37:55: It goes completely
00:37:56: off.
00:37:56: Who would you like to roast the most?
00:37:59: If you could just say Dead or Alive.
00:38:02: It doesn't matter,
00:38:03: it doesn't really matter.
00:38:06: I
00:38:06: think... It doesn´t matter!
00:38:08: No, not
00:38:09: at all!
00:38:10: Of course when an ultra-crazy person is roasting they know that more will be seen.
00:38:16: but then there's also a question of why this person should battle me.
00:38:20: You have to see that somehow too.
00:38:22: But I believe in good a good battle.
00:38:26: emcee can face everyone.
00:38:28: Of course it is so that it's hard as man against woman because the sympathy is automatically on the side of women always, huh?
00:38:40: So in this context It's incredibly difficult but I mean we have met each other with wisdom and it was also tough for me There.
00:38:50: you knew too.
00:38:51: That would be really bad.
00:38:53: Yes, no.
00:38:54: I'm just looking at what's happening now... ...I can't say anything about the conditions or wishes because it really is for that.
00:39:07: It was more like a
00:39:08: dream come true from Weasley and so on.
00:39:09: you know he doesn't even have to tell anyone exactly who would have thought.
00:39:12: I'm going
00:39:13: to overtake you with my comedy career internationally.
00:39:20: At the
00:39:20: very last minute!
00:39:21: I don't want it at all, there's no way for me... An odd turn of events!
00:39:25: Suddenly when I kill Tony like this It was just completely out-of-the-blue.
00:39:28: But that doesn't make any sense?
00:39:31: I wouldn't have thought how great would
00:39:35: be if
00:39:36: it were so cool!
00:39:36: Of
00:39:36: course it is cool because everything is so clear
00:39:40: about its own thing.
00:39:41: I wouldn't say it was important to me, but... ...I already took that as a yes for myself.
00:39:52: And
00:39:52: you
00:39:53: also respected this!
00:39:54: You weren't so nervous in the beginning.
00:39:57: Show us what you
00:39:57: have and stuff like that.
00:39:59: Lever, I thought this is a very clear thing.
00:40:02: There I am alone in the beginning of a line, there can be more than that.
00:40:05: The light is not helping or something like this.
00:40:10: It's just very clear my thing and i want to do it very clearly.
00:40:14: Yes And you really have to... And I just wish for life.
00:40:18: so much again.
00:40:20: So as you said after these recordings came like a wave of, oh now we're getting air again.
00:40:30: We really sucked through the crazy ones.
00:40:33: so I think since October there hasn't been even one day free.
00:40:39: You have to imagine how unhealthy that is.
00:40:41: and here come these phases where you can do something which maybe doesn´t make sense because it's a roast battle in Barcelona.
00:40:50: Let's just do it because you can.
00:40:54: That has experienced something
00:40:56: like that.
00:40:56: Yes, and then one doesn't have to go on vacation either.
00:40:59: For example today in the morning I just drove into the neighboring village, got a coffee and drove back with my bike Because the sun has set And i want things like this to be able to make me happy again.
00:41:14: It is always a bad sign.
00:41:15: Once in cologne shortly before going there too mini-clinic, roller coaster or something like that.
00:41:23: That I met a friend for half of the year and said let's meet up at coffee shop!
00:41:29: And we never found time.
00:41:31: At some point i thought to myself it is not arm-saving.
00:41:35: For six months there was no... It wasn't me doing one thing on hard to get or anything like this.
00:41:40: I am so busy with drinking coffee but I really don´t find any half an hour to sit out and drink coffee.
00:41:48: That's where all the alarm clocks are, because of course I go to a cool show in a cool concert, take part somewhere.
00:41:56: Always awesome!
00:41:59: But you have to find the opportunity at home to sit on the terrace and read a book or maybe call someone out there with flowers or to chat with your neighbor.
00:42:13: if that doesn't work... Then you have
00:42:16: no life.
00:42:16: Yes, then it's just like a machine that lives in another machine
00:42:19: And this also as little... You could understand that as an assumption maybe to everyone else.
00:42:28: If I get such questions for myself or us Or even yourself around the corner It might be interesting for Hazel blah blah blah When what should jump out of there in the beginning is only Yes, it's a cool possibility for you.
00:42:45: I don't need this cool opportunity!
00:42:47: I have the last fifteen years of possibilities without... I've got a
00:42:51: camera and I don'
00:42:53: t need your camera to film me.
00:42:54: Let us meet again and talk about formats.
00:42:56: maybe we can shoot something together in twenty-nine.
00:43:01: It only
00:43:01: takes five months at a time.
00:43:03: How would that be?
00:43:06: No, no way!
00:43:06: I don´t need that right now.
00:43:08: Without doing anything We have a great team around us, which we built with a lot of work.
00:43:18: Which works really well and now... ...we can do what we want to do!
00:43:23: And the only thing that we need to pay attention on is... ...that in between there's still life here as well.
00:43:28: And then make things where it would be fun or... ...they bring something for us at some point like challenges etc.. I mean this was for me first time again.
00:43:37: Yes, I just saw that i can do it.
00:43:40: And of course this was really cool!
00:43:41: So you have to shape your life in such a way
00:43:47: as not to miss the air for breathing and also not metaphorically.
00:43:52: By the way about the air to breathe did you see from FIBO FORZFIASCO on the Fitness & Bodybuilding Bessel in Cologne?
00:43:57: From FIBAO?
00:43:59: I didn't get much and what I got is... I mean, it's cold running under my back.
00:44:05: It's
00:44:06: warm and you're
00:44:06: walking up your back.
00:44:07: I don't know the dude but he
00:44:09: seems to have been the only big Christian Wolf Show and... yeah, no idea.
00:44:20: We
00:44:20: were often on the FIBO and filmed there.
00:44:23: It was also half planned, we were shooting there.
00:44:26: then it was relatively quickly clear that we would not pack or that is now in our lust barometer too low to let everything stand and lie down for this.
00:44:38: And then I just said no maybe next year.
00:44:44: Now i'm reading all of them from time to time.
00:44:51: It's true, it stunk on
00:44:52: the whole fair after Furtz.
00:44:54: Because?
00:44:54: Because people farted or because Protein Shakes farted at some point?
00:44:56: No cause they farted.
00:44:58: So because Furtze came out of the darm into the
00:45:03: air... Oh my God!
00:45:05: Why did you do
00:45:06: that?!
00:45:06: You have one now.
00:45:07: One thing you tell me is that it's not from a location where you've never been before.
00:45:11: No,
00:45:11: so actually there was probably such a triple whammy of proteins... If one takes a lot of protein into account then the lady can no longer change the substance at
00:45:19: some point.
00:45:20: and- There are also the term protein phase
00:45:21: in fact.
00:45:22: Exactly!
00:45:22: Protein
00:45:22: phase?
00:45:22: But what I mean by that, especially every person has a distribution for certain proteins.
00:45:31: So if you take a huge difference, whether it's one teaspoon of protein or three tablespoons.
00:45:40: Yes
00:45:41: and then there is also the difference between taking that on empty stomachs etc.
00:45:46: Second reason, sweets.
00:45:48: So sweets in rice, in protein powder also make sure to get crumbly belly.
00:45:53: And what I didn't know but was totally enlightened when doing this in shaker and shaking It's like babies.
00:46:02: The first thing you learn when preparing a bottle is not shaking, otherwise the baby will have stomach pain because of all the air bubbles.
00:46:13: Basically FIBO and TONUS were just lifestyle and there are no more innovations.
00:46:21: I'm happy that we weren't
00:46:24: here this year.
00:46:25: My guess was... But I've already talked about that with other colleagues who do a lot of sports and they see it quite similar.
00:46:35: That Moor and ESN have such a big monopoly now, to just try to make their goods as cheaply as possible so they can be trashy too.
00:46:53: They used... The punks, the rock'n'rollers.
00:46:57: The young wilds of garages and stuff like that.
00:46:59: We mix up supermarkets to make sure that there are a lot of protein in them or some syrup or powder which makes it taste good here.
00:47:09: I think everything is great!
00:47:11: I use these products sometimes too but meanwhile they have to take care... not like McDonald's, Coca-Cola.
00:47:22: Naiki used to be in the sixties and there was no running shoes at all.
00:47:27: And then Phil Knight came from Naiky who said that there is an Onizuka in Japan.
00:47:32: I want them to bring it into USA so people can run and don't break their legs or feet.
00:47:39: Meanwhile it isn´t like you say wow Naiki a secret tip.
00:47:41: It´s a great brand which uses itself totally for small men
00:47:46: and women Horror stories and I think we are not far from the distance that some real scandals will come to light.
00:47:54: I don't mean ESN or more in particular, but basically out of the fitness industry.
00:47:59: how influencers will be pinched?
00:48:03: How do they have to advertise without an end?
00:48:05: And then at the end you get a discount code so that your protein shakes can buy a little cheaper with us.
00:48:10: You must now advertise here without the end.
00:48:12: for example about the feebo Instand meat a day then somehow ten thousand euros cost and there's not even WLAN in it, you have to pay extra again and so on.
00:48:22: So for some people the trains are really shabby.
00:48:27: I don't think CreaPur was here this year either because they just said we don' t need that A little bit like with us.
00:48:35: Quality sets itself through.
00:48:36: We know our standing.
00:48:37: if creatine should be good Then when?
00:48:43: European standards.
00:48:43: The only creatine that is produced in Europe, it's produced in Germany.
00:48:48: I'm not saying because i am German or something like that, but either the creatinine comes from China or from Germany and if you want to buy it out of Germany then you have to buy a purge wherever there isn't anything on top It doesn´t contain it And this is heavy metal and so forth.
00:49:06: All these events that people have been doing for a long time in front of houses, blocks and
00:49:17: snakes.
00:49:17: For a small five gram bag
00:49:19: or something like this?
00:49:21: It's really disturbing!
00:49:23: I think Christian Wolf is really excited about what he says... ...and it's also good to know there
00:49:29: was one.
00:49:29: It's very feminine and violent at the same
00:49:32: time.
00:49:33: And also this whole thing with, yeah I look so great and am rich.
00:49:39: How
00:49:40: much
00:49:42: money does he have?
00:49:44: He will only know that.
00:49:51: So for him to do the fitness, there are other people who look a lot better than they could be more.
00:50:01: For example BroSep from... Köln, the one who does evo bars and has an evo studio.
00:50:06: That's
00:50:06: this biggest studio in Germany?
00:50:10: Or is it a mega legendary studio that he opened there now?
00:50:14: There
00:50:14: are also a few or let me say something else... So from the start to the end of moral issues like fat-shaming, sexism
00:50:23: etc.,
00:50:23: you can criticize Christian Wolf very much but even if only on sports and only on fitness and everything else You can also find a lot.
00:50:32: For example, why do all of them have their regular collagen?
00:50:36: Are sweets really that good and microplastic?
00:50:39: or another question.
00:50:40: then this whole rattle rattle every day.
00:50:49: somehow five hours rattle yes.
00:50:50: so where to you?
00:50:51: just make your basic consumption higher.
00:50:53: there
00:50:55: are some things I don't
00:50:56: know
00:50:57: but to feel uneasy.
00:50:58: I always think, what exactly is going on there?
00:51:01: To make it short
00:51:04: everything has its existence, otherwise you wouldn't be so successful either.
00:51:12: but do i have to be there?
00:51:15: I don´t believe that.
00:51:16: Quite the opposite of FIBO, there is something in Cologne that I really want to visit with you.
00:51:21: Our friend Young Kira also made this jingle from our podcast here.
00:51:27: for example He told me about it and said there's a restaurant in Cöln right now.
00:51:31: This is actually my first time coming out of culinary conviction.
00:51:35: who would like to travel to Cologne?
00:51:36: That means guesthouse at OMA OMA GERICHTE And there comes an OMA and cook.
00:51:42: Then a grandma comes up to me saying, I'm making such a delicious fried sourdough with dumplings!
00:51:50: And that's what I'd like for my team to cook now... ...and then there is a professional chef who helps you because of course if your aunt says she likes cooking and this is my passion- you can already cook but For sixty-five people to deliver a menu on point is of course something completely different.
00:52:07: And the profi cook helps you.
00:52:08: then, and I have looked at the website once what there are for Omas.
00:52:12: so that's so cool!
00:52:13: You can also apply as an Oma.
00:52:14: The term Oma gets extremely widespread,
00:52:18: i.e.,
00:52:18: are you thirty six or ninety six?
00:52:21: That doesn't matter, it could be a man too.
00:52:23: Being an OMA is a feeling.
00:52:25: I thought that was a really innovative concept.
00:52:29: That you sign up in advance, you have to pay in advance and say what you want to eat beforehand... ...and then your grandma cooks for you!
00:52:40: And when it came back on my mind again this is actually the reason why people do food for me but also go out of their way because they feel like A emotion from the past time, how it is reputable and can experience
00:52:57: together.
00:52:57: Yes that sounds super cool!
00:52:58: How often do they open?
00:52:59: I
00:53:00: think almost every day
00:53:01: And then everyday a different grandma?
00:53:03: Exactly!
00:53:03: Every day... I believe
00:53:05: she
00:53:05: has an
00:53:06: ultra-crazy organizational effort.
00:53:08: Maybe you only have a few days or maybe two closing days But many of them have Omas.
00:53:13: They have such rotation on Omas.
00:53:16: Then one can choose beforehand.
00:53:17: So there is already something to be cooked and a lot of it is also plant-based.
00:53:24: There are many old German recipes that work with pork, or some kind of ginseng.
00:53:30: There's always a plant alternative but actually very traditional.
00:53:35: so I thought... I love it that we are now in the era of non-amaxing.
00:53:42: Non-amaxxing is a fixed term, i don't know if you've heard about this before... ...that people try to get the inner nona out and expand their lifestyle so they can just... ...try to channel his inner oma, sit outside, chat with people during the day, go far too much on social media.
00:54:02: And Cologne has for the first time in history which I will find a non-amaxing thing that I want to support.
00:54:11: Yes, crazy!
00:54:12: And how long has this restaurant been there?
00:54:13: That's
00:54:14: also so crazy for several years now... I think it is in both parts of the country.
00:54:17: On the other hand, on the other side from the Polar Wiesn and then we have to go back.
00:54:22: So you must work as an uncle
00:54:25: here.
00:54:25: It sounds amazing or
00:54:25: maybe i could be a guest uncle.
00:54:29: It sounds super awesome, definitely.
00:54:33: I would be right there at the start.
00:54:34: By the way... I still want to talk with Christian Wolff anyway
00:54:38: because he chose the fantastic name Hazel for his daughter.
00:54:41: That's exactly what we've
00:54:42: said before and i also see the development that happened in Germany.
00:54:49: otherwise it wouldn't have been so succesfull.
00:54:51: The people over calories and movement and thinking about this.
00:54:57: There are only some, and I think it would be similar.
00:55:00: Developments or the way things get communicated where you have to do that.
00:55:04: So can't this also be a bit less dramatic?
00:55:10: Or no idea... On the
00:55:12: twelfth?
00:55:13: Yes!
00:55:13: Well
00:55:14: i believe he is just a little socially awkward.
00:55:16: That's what i'm saying as a socially awkward person right now because i don´t mean that at all.
00:55:20: I mean, he checked out a lot of what's going on between people.
00:55:23: But i think that he doesn't check how often it works and thinks maybe not so much or can this work?
00:55:30: And then somehow it looks weird.
00:55:31: but now i don´t want to take him in my protection.
00:55:34: What sometimes
00:55:34: i find stupid isn´t with him at all... ...but with other Influencers who have already noticed that she is like this every day only because they have a six pack or something.
00:55:48: A box gechecked by sich also in was ausgefüllt.
00:55:54: so nach dem motto jeder will so sein wie ich.
00:55:58: Ganz
00:55:58: recht haben six pack.
00:55:59: du willst so sein, wie ich dann folge meinem achtpunkte plan oder was weiß ich was ne dass man irgendwie so denkt.
00:56:07: That's just a kind of projection.
00:56:09: I have achieved something, now everyone wants to achieve that too!
00:56:12: It is like the people who have a lot of money think all people are interested in their wealth or common wealth?
00:56:19: So many reasons
00:56:19: still find this whole nutrition bubble and the whole bohai which is made about calories...I think it's totally stupid And I think it makes the human body more primitive than he actually is.
00:56:37: When calories are always seen as a second step and always as something negative, because for me that was when we got our first child It was like this The child had to learn how to drink and then the kid had to pee for the first time I noticed that you had to take something first and then you can live.
00:56:59: It's like on a mobile phone, you have to charge it at the beginning of the day before using it.
00:57:04: And just as we talked about calories... ...you would always only drive around to get your tank empty but actually you go to tanks in order to be able to drive by car.
00:57:15: Well because people are so messed up that they don't even know where to go or what to do.
00:57:19: They're detached from each
00:57:21: other.
00:57:21: Eating is always something to have it afterwards, after you've already earned that
00:57:29: in advance.
00:57:29: Well or even more banal people just don't have a relation at all.
00:57:32: so my sister once was amazed.
00:57:33: she was in the exchange of the USA and was with her family where they were morbidly obese and everyone tried to take off.
00:57:41: And then the mother from the family to one of my sisters who said completely that she is an athlete which has a great figure.
00:57:48: Why are you an apple?
00:57:51: Why don't drink Coke Zero?
00:57:52: Coke Zero has no calories.
00:57:54: Then there's just so little... It's like in the USA, on the water bottles, fat is out of it and you could almost say in Leuchtbuchstaben zero calories!
00:58:04: Of course there was a zero calorie water.
00:58:06: On the R-Berts it says zero cholesterol.
00:58:09: Yeah
00:58:09: that doesn't have to be talked about.
00:58:13: but I'm only saying this one thing.. I think my child is cool.
00:58:17: And the other thing Why doesn't everyone
00:58:21: get their child?
00:58:22: Yes, of
00:58:22: course.
00:58:23: Or why does not everybody have a relationship with
00:58:25: them or... I think that every person is like this.
00:58:29: It's as if some parents don´t find it difficult when your child is either single or has no children or is homosexual and simply doesn´t fit to her image from the perfect life.
00:58:43: And then there are people who say, yes but everyone has to have the same brand of clothes.
00:58:50: Everyone must have the exact same hairstyle and a lot of people
00:58:52: also look for someone that just tells them what they should do.
00:58:54: Yes I am happy if not everybody does this.
00:58:56: what i'm doing.
00:58:57: I've never understood these thoughts before that somehow men wanted all other men So masculine or what I am, as she herself always thought.
00:59:05: I'm happy about every gay man who tells me not to take away a woman even if you can't say that of course.
00:59:13: but i know What do i mean?
00:59:15: If it wasn´t for my wife then i would be happy with everyone who wouldn´t have the potential to become a competitor.
00:59:24: Of course never thought like this because i was so crazy.
00:59:30: What Thomas
00:59:31: told me, you had a leather hat for years.
00:59:33: It doesn't sound
00:59:34: like it at all.
00:59:35: No, from that point on this
00:59:36: weird right... You think everyone is cool and ask yourself
00:59:39: what to do in order be like him?
00:59:48: I always find that totally... Offgesetzt and lächerlich.
01:00:05: Also
01:00:20: I don't care if it's against Alexander Skarsgård or Chris Hemsworth, who are extremely attractive and then seriously think that they have to look like this.
01:00:34: Of course i'm thinking what would be cool with their hairstyle?
01:00:39: Or their swag... But that just doesn't do anything for me!
01:00:43: I also don't know.
01:00:46: but maybe there
01:00:48: is a special guy up until now.
01:00:50: I don't know.
01:00:53: I
01:00:53: just think of the whole day...
01:00:55: I'm not stupid yet, there's no book left!
01:00:57: What
01:00:58: do you want to say?
01:00:58: I
01:00:58: just wanna be a cooking grandma.
01:00:59: I'll go on
01:01:00: stage and insult people.
01:01:02: I've experienced all kinds of things in Barcelona before Ultimate Frisbee.
01:01:09: Frisbee, frasbee of course because I was super
01:01:12: frazler.
01:01:12: Yes you celebrated before Twetti or the International Kifteag?
01:01:17: Exactly!
01:01:17: I didn't even know anything about ultimate frisbee at all.
01:01:19: I knew exactly what it is.
01:01:22: So mega-mega exhausting?
01:01:23: That's
01:01:23: right but i haven´t played that myself since
01:01:25: then.
01:01:26: It´s a little bit like how football with a frisbie is said
01:01:30: to be.
01:01:30: Football.
01:01:31: Football
01:01:33: yes, that´s true.
01:01:34: Football and frisbees.
01:01:35: And what I did not know is You
01:01:39: can´t run with the frisbier.
01:01:42: You fit in, stay still.
01:01:49: I
01:01:51: would not say that this is a problem, but it's just good if you're smaller.
01:01:55: Oh, that's very nice.
01:01:58: Very nice!
01:01:58: And you just have to be in the sun?
01:02:00: I need a little bit of maxing.
01:02:01: The question
01:02:02: is why are so many Spaniards good at this sport?
01:02:06: because they live sunny, because they're used to sand and small or well with ball.
01:02:12: By the way also on the beach in Barcelona I saw a lot of women who played football.
01:02:17: then Mike was there too.
01:02:22: Crazy, I've never seen a woman in my whole life playing football.
01:02:25: What?
01:02:26: The one living in Bavaria!
01:02:27: You
01:02:27: know what it's like to see a woman like Heckey Sack standing there
01:02:33: for five
01:02:33: women and just kicking her into the ball...
01:02:37: I saw such an annoying reel that someone walks around in Stuttgart asking men if they think she is exactly as good like a professional athlete, even though they only play football hobby-wise.
01:02:52: So if you think that when one plays only hobby-like soccer he is as good of an professional player... All men have said yes!
01:02:59: All guys have claimed themselves to be just as good as the professional players are.
01:03:05: I simply
01:03:05: find it insane.
01:03:06: It's insane?
01:03:07: But we also need to say this in fact... Well i was already surprised by what the POTUSLAM did.
01:03:16: Football delegations against
01:03:18: SK
01:03:19: InterSlam, the women's team from FC Augsburg played.
01:03:24: And you have to say that they
01:03:26: are
01:03:27: replaced by alcoholics,
01:03:30: smokers... While playing, do they smoke a self-proclaimed
01:03:33: flute?
01:03:33: I think they won seven out of zero or something like this!
01:03:37: So it is already possible for them to give physical consideration but Of course, something like pass-examination.
01:03:46: Exactly!
01:03:47: And as a professional athlete I think it's also a bit different.
01:03:50: By the way about
01:03:51: FIBO... It was the most positive thing that ever happened to me this year.
01:03:56: This year I saw Real for the first time.
01:03:58: today over one million calls where a Calisthenics Athlete from South Hesse, who is fifty-one, puts all other athletes in the
01:04:08: bag.
01:04:08: Really?
01:04:08: Can we meet them then?
01:04:09: Can you bring anything with
01:04:10: us?
01:04:11: That's for sure.
01:04:12: They all hang on a bar next to each other and she makes, I don't know... eight muscle ups in the episode.
01:04:20: after that another big lever.
01:04:21: I don't know, five years
01:04:22: ago?
01:04:22: What did she do before that?
01:04:23: No idea.
01:04:24: But really impressive!
01:04:25: When i was still at the Rosalía concert it was ultra awesome as the best... But also
01:04:29: how crazy is
01:04:30: this?!
01:04:32: The third day in a row you had the entertainment over hat-trick.
01:04:36: So first Bayern won at the Champions League Then they made their own Rose Battle with what will be the third best Rose Battle World and then Rosalia probably the most exciting Pop event that you can visit in Barcelona.
01:04:50: Yes, Sandra Studer told us it was one of the top three concerts where she lived her whole life and I mean She saw a billion concerts and
01:05:00: two million were given.
01:05:01: No And is just a singer herself.
01:05:03: so they check what this means and also Spanish which i cannot do now.
01:05:08: I had to feel what Rosalía sang there.
01:05:11: But it was heard from some sides that this should be very, very good and also really ultra-crazy like a theater piece actually.
01:05:20: It was so well staged by the live broadcast on the line walls which made it mega-craze Through and through thought about the planned cool concert.
01:05:33: Where
01:05:33: does it come from?
01:05:34: So they're coming out of Spain, but I mean what is your artistic career going
01:05:38: to be like?
01:05:39: that was just
01:05:39: there.
01:05:40: i think
01:05:41: she has a classical education so he can definitely ballet And also something like opera singing.
01:05:50: really so classic classical singing education and used to make himself a little bit stronger.
01:06:21: That's why
01:06:24: I don't like to hear it, even though there is no single word.
01:06:32: And yeah... I've seen a few things from that already and i always thought about them on all levels because they are not only uplifting but also musically interesting.
01:06:49: with the warmth inside you have this feeling when you're standing at your stage that she really knows what you just did.
01:06:56: It wasn´t as good.
01:06:56: It was a very apathetic way of looking at the teacher and saying something in his room.
01:07:01: To create a connection, to come
01:07:03: back to the beginning again... ...to let one mass, one energy and one
01:07:13: mood merge together.
01:07:15: Yes, you're always talking about how people want to clump each other.
01:07:20: It just has to be a ball with lots of minors.
01:07:22: Hey, it's weathering against individuals in the
01:07:26: audience!
01:07:26: I have now become clear again that Barcelona is simply as good and unbeatable as city.
01:07:33: So many qualities.
01:07:34: The food is ultra-crazy... It's a bit fruity.
01:07:39: Sorry,
01:07:40: you just ate it.
01:07:41: Thomas, I'm sorry but... I can't say that differently.
01:07:44: You were like a ground fish!
01:07:46: I took three kilos in the last four
01:07:48: days.
01:07:48: You brought something with me, isn't it nice?
01:07:50: Yes You
01:07:51: wanted to save these memories somehow And this makes it very easy for molecules to reach a fat cell level If they are there.
01:07:59: If you
01:07:59: have the opportunity, go to Flex and Kale.
01:08:04: It's a veggie restaurant that is super awesome!
01:08:09: Go to Puerto Chillo, it's a seafood fish restaurant where everything is super fresh.
01:08:17: So eat beach, comedy scene... Museen anbelangt was also so archaeology on the land.
01:08:26: So you see it often, so glass-covered tekeller where then there are some römer.
01:08:31: things were exiled or exiled and of course sports.
01:08:37: have you
01:08:39: ever
01:08:39: stood in front of a beach from Barcelona?
01:08:41: That's really crazy!
01:08:43: Then great shock.
01:09:15: Okay, so you
01:09:16: haven't
01:09:17: lived in Regensburg for a long time.
01:09:19: Have you been living there before?
01:09:22: Do any of
01:09:23: your former residents still live here?
01:09:27: Yes I mean Mike my former resident.
01:09:29: Then the owner of the movie theater Karen Kriesberg, shout out!
01:09:37: But otherwise really very little.
01:09:41: and if it sounds stupid to me but I will not be recognized
01:09:45: more often than... But I mean the people who went to poetry slam, so you have this huge Poetry Slam.
01:09:54: It was one of the biggest slams in Germany.
01:09:57: Master on the Unifers in Audimax at the University of Regensburg The people there Stamppublikum waren die Wohnen nicht mehr in der Innenstadt.
And that had a huge hype there.
01:10:31: I think the whole city was really so euphoric, it's crazy.
01:10:35: we're cultural now.
01:10:35: We are prom
01:10:36: queen!
01:10:38: But with time because they were used to being tourists and things like that... ...the city became more and more optimised as you can see very clearly.
01:10:47: There is these three tourist streets
01:10:49: and
01:10:50: then all the stands and everyone else looking into the pipes.
01:10:54: Of course this new museum for Bavarian history, which was also really cool.
01:10:59: You brought
01:10:59: me a cookbook too?
01:11:00: Then I have to talk to you in Gänze next time because there is an entire chapter of recipes for patients from gastroenteritis!
01:11:11: What is that?
01:11:11: That's
01:11:12: when you have a stomach ache.
01:11:17: First at three hundred pages with recipes for fat files and then like this... And now,
01:11:26: you've arrived!
01:11:27: How funny!
01:11:27: No, I've seen a lot of what I didn't even know about Bavaria.
01:11:32: So how important Napoleon was for the bavarian history and you could touch such a bayonet... Oh
01:11:39: wow!
01:11:39: What's going on with you?
01:11:41: Since when have you been so cultural-minded?
01:11:42: Traveling?!
01:11:43: Yes
01:11:44: well i
01:11:44: try to give myself where there are things.
01:12:13: also horror filme
01:12:14: horror filme
01:12:15: dann lustige filme.
01:12:21: zu wenig spezifisch Okay, say it.
01:12:24: Horror films, indie movies and children's movies are just the
01:12:29: three things.
01:12:30: Because if you have a small
01:12:32: cinema people don't come to you on fucking Star Wars or something.
01:12:39: Thor fights against Wonder Woman, Electron.
01:12:43: Featuring Audi A-A.
01:12:44: Yeah all this shit that no one can see anymore.
01:12:47: Jason Statham somehow... Translates
01:12:49: into a hovercraft!
01:12:51: That was awesome too my friend's company with whom I was in Regensburg.
01:12:54: How long did
01:12:55: you leave?
01:12:57: I left the whole week.
01:12:58: It was way to long as well.
01:13:01: So three days are cool but it is just way too crazy for me because we still have our older daughter with grandma away so i don't see her then.
01:13:12: I haven't seen you
01:13:14: in my whole life for ten days yet.
01:13:16: She even
01:13:16: asked me, when
01:13:18: will dad come?
01:13:21: That
01:13:24: was really... Maybe i misunderstood her as well.
01:13:29: What did she want to do?
01:13:30: No.. I have a huge Jason Statham poster at my friend's place And I just said to him, oh shit, it's not me.
01:13:37: I don't think they're that stupid.
01:13:39: It is such a show player
01:13:43: who definitely finds one of them cool and has said this was his favorite
01:13:50: show player!
01:13:52: Super!
01:13:52: So if you don't need so much... You are
01:13:56: like Marie Kondo with the movie Miss Spark Violence.
01:14:01: It should stay.
01:14:02: I'm listening to a really interesting podcast right now, so sometimes you have these series that you listen to where one story tells us the secret world of roald dal The author of Charlie and the chocolate factory or matilda is completely crazy!
01:14:22: Do you know he was in spyon before?
01:14:25: I just knew that he didn't have an anti-Semitic scandal or
01:14:28: something like this.
01:14:29: Well, of course it's... He was listening to
01:14:30: WS for a while and it was so
01:14:32: good!
01:14:32: No but he really became so anti-semitical later on Or maybe always already been But so verbal.
01:14:39: So i think the one thing is when you somehow grow up in a cultural context where It wasn't clear yet That we should please distance ourselves from them.
01:14:49: But if you actively connect with him This is... So there is no question at all.
01:14:54: But his life is so... I don't even know, because you just said how much happened in your week.
01:15:00: In all of his life he was before... I can't figure out what had happened to him.
01:15:04: He was a pilot at the Royal Air Force.
01:15:08: Then there were spies and his task was to seduce the women from important men.
01:15:15: Then he worked with Walt Disney, Alfred Hitchcock.
01:15:21: He had his own TV series and as the first person who doesn't come out of medicine... ...he invented a necessary, life-saving thing called a hose.
01:15:36: Out of the brain, excessive fluidity is possible.
01:15:40: Simply because he could and needed it.
01:15:42: So crazy.
01:15:43: I can highly recommend The Secret World Of Royal Dahl.
01:15:46: I'm at episode six out of ten
01:15:49: And who moderates?
01:15:50: Some dude that
01:15:52: wrote this too
01:15:54: And it's
01:15:54: like a listening game?
01:15:55: Yes, no.
01:15:55: It is already kind of like an hearing player but not so that different characters come in
01:16:00: So you don't have to interact with people and then hear sounds or something.
01:16:04: But also reduced on the minimum.
01:16:07: And which platforms?
01:16:09: All of them.
01:16:09: All of these are from iHeartMedia.
01:16:12: I'm really... I am ultra flashed whenever you see me with my Airpods inside.
01:16:23: That's what we're talking about!
01:16:27: And he always speaks of
01:16:33: a very dalian thing to do.
01:16:40: The Gremlins was his first story.
01:16:42: His first dabble in literature, he wrote the Gremlins.
01:16:46: I didn't know there's
01:16:48: a book
01:16:50: about it!
01:16:50: A short story?
01:16:51: A very
01:16:52: short one... I've never seen
01:16:54: The Gremlin before.
01:16:55: Can
01:16:55: we take a look at
01:16:56: that?
01:16:56: Quentin
01:16:57: Tarantino says that the second Gremlin is one of the best performances ever.
01:17:00: He has already worked hard on this.
01:17:04: Pooh, there's a Fibo furster from the distance that I don't like it anymore.
01:17:09: Roll Dahl has not only made Charlie and Chocolate Factory but also two films with which he always forgets.
01:17:15: He did this Big Friendly Giant, right?
01:17:16: Exactly!
01:17:17: And then another one with The Peach or what is its name again?
01:17:20: The
01:17:20: Giant Peach?
01:17:21: Yes because something in front of it called Blubberblur and The Giant
01:17:24: peach.
01:17:24: And he wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as well... And now i know what Chitty-Chitty
01:17:30: Bang
01:17:30: is about.
01:17:30: This mega legendary film over such an auto with Dick Van Dyke Mega gestured.
01:17:35: Wer war ein Spionage Freund von ihm?
01:17:38: Ein Kollege Ian Flemming, der James Bond
01:17:42: kreiert
01:17:42: hat.
01:17:43: und den fünften James Bond hatte er auch geschrieben.
01:17:47: Welcher ist der Fünfte?
01:17:49: Twice Do You Died?
01:17:50: Only Died Twice oder sowas?
01:17:52: Ah man lebt nur zweimal.
01:17:53: Der letzte Von John Connery Den hat einfach Roald Dael geschrieben.
01:17:57: Ich bin einfach
01:17:59: James von Der Riesen für sich
01:18:01: James and the giant.
01:18:02: Yeah, good.
01:18:03: That sounds like a smuddle film.
01:18:08: Bismillah!
01:18:09: And the giant aubergine.
01:18:10: Well guys that's it... You can't
01:18:13: do this?
01:18:14: You've already started to make a sentence.
01:18:15: I just can't believe what
01:18:18: he did.
01:18:19: all of these things for me.
01:18:23: So sorry i have to end my recording here because now i'm going to knock out this Dal Potty in
01:18:30: his ear Super.
01:18:32: Then, take care guys!
01:18:34: And
01:18:34: as you say in Spanish, hasta la próxima vez!
